Back in 2006 Scratch took time off from her duties at the web site, calendar and barnyard to be photographed for the cover of the August-September edition of Backyard Poultry Magazine.  She was proud to represent, not only her own species, but all of poultry, and she continues to be active in her work to bridge the gap between the farmers and the farmed.
